GETTING DOWN TO 53

Between yesterday and today 1,184 players will have been released from the training camp roster of 90 players for all 32 teams. That number is reduced to 53 by 4pm est today. The final adjustment period to all the NFL rosters will be concluded before the season begins Thursday night. Tomorrow the 32 teams can sign up to 10 players each team for the practice squad. 1,184 dreams but only 320 can make it to a reality. I'll update the Charger cuts here. Last year, The Chargers released 8 players only to add them back to the practice squad later in the year.

                                 

   Antonio Gates and FA DT Johnathan Hankins future should be decided very very soon. Hunter Henry will be placed on season ending IR after the cuts are made. Good luck to all the players today!
