CHRISTMAS FOR FOOTBALL FANS
When you were little nothing beat the excitement of waiting for Christmas morning. As an adult we wait through the lonely month of the year February where almost literally nothing much is happening in sports. As March approaches, we begin talking the NFL Draft that is soon approaching. Anticipation fills the football fan in May and June as mini camp and OTA'S take place which begins the talk of the new roster your team assembled in the offseason. As mid July comes closer it is nearing the 6 month mark since the last time football was played and crowned a Super Bowl winner. The last week of July every year is the beginning of the new football season. 32 teams believing they have a shot in the next Super Bowl. Coaches implement their new found schemes for the new year. Players begin to get in true football shape and fans await the day their team opens up training camp to their loyalist of diehards.
Media talking heads start the same conversations in all 32 cities that follow their teams. So-so is ready to have a breakout year, The game plan has become so simple from this time last year, S0-so has never felt better after missing the previous season with an injury and of course the old aging veteran saying he still has something in the tank. Ahhhh, yes it is almost finally here. The Chargers report to the team complex in Costa Mesa in 3 days on Friday July 27, 2018. On Saturday, July 28 practices open up to the public for the first time at the Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa. One of the most anticipated Charger seasons with sky high expectations is about to begin.
If you have been hibernating like a bear this offseason here is a few quick reviews before camp opens. The NFL owners had their annual meetings at the end of March. They decided to screw with the game some more because well you know, they're such icons and smarter than everyone else before them.
