A PERSONAL POST FROM ME TO YOU

Football is so much like life. All the ups and downs and there is someone is always trying to predict a winner and loser in the process. This time last year, I was in a coma at Grossmont Hospital. One year later I have a newborn son. It's been a real eye opening experience.

Suddenly football isn't so life and death. We have all seen good friendships lost to the relocation. It's a shame to be honest. Our passion for the game is real and sometimes we just take it to seriously. I'm guilty of that as well. We put off our family time on Sundays because we "HAVE" to watch the big game. In doing so let us not forget the big picture in our lives.

In the end, your favorite team won't be by your bedside or attending your funeral. Those people are the ones we keep blowing off on Sundays or giving them a rain check.  Just so we can enjoy the game we love., the team we love.

This season let's remember the ones who love us are more important than the team we love.

I have a reminder of that everyday now when I hold Noah Wayne Powell Born June 5, 2018.
