OPTIONS FOR THE CHARGERS AT KICKER

Clearly Caleb Sturgis has proven he can not be trusted to make field goals for the team. It's frightening to try and imagine him kicking in a cold January playoff game for a winning field goal. Even though Telesco is signed Sturgis to a two year deal for $4.45 million. The problem is he gave Sturgis $1 million in guaranteed money. Because of that reason, I believed all along the kicking competition in training camp was smoke and mirrors. The guy getting paid a million dollars is going to win that job 10 out of 10 times.

This is a mistake that can not be ignored or procrastinated any longer. The team is off on Tuesday and tryouts need to take place. How the hell the team finds themselves yet again in a special teams critical point mid season is 1. The biggest mistake of Telesco career and 2. George Stewart ( special teams coach) needs to be fired after the season. His unit is ranked at the bottom of the league and continue to make mental errors that have not been fixed.

The Chargers presently have $1,678,761 in cap space left. The easiest choice is to sign Roberto Aguayo. However, there are options if Telesco wants to review them.
