SPANOS REACHES OUT TO SAN DIEGO FANS

For those who have followed me know I have said what my source told me. 2017 would be 100% all in focused on LA. After that they would turn their attention to the fans in San Diego. The team is still struggling to gain traction in the city of LA and the surrounding counties. In 2020 they move into Inglewood 70,000 seat stadium.

The problem is not can they fill they stadium but can they even half fill the stadium. They lost 60% of the fans in San Diego. Is it to little to late for Spanos and the Chargers to reach out to fans that feel they were insulted and forgotten when left with nothing but a statement saying they were leaving their home of 56 years to join the Rams in LA?

So the team began that process this morning joining a "EMPLOYEE" in a interview by 1360am Judson Richard and Nick Hardwick at radio row in hype of the Super Bowl in 2 days. Tom Telesco and head coach Anthony Lynn have spoke to the media in San Diego before but the communication from the owners and front office has been MIA. The team ignored the San Diego market and went all in on LA.

Dean decision to send John and A.G. Spanos out as his lap dogs was greeted with a huge backlash as fans on Twitter exploded at the sons of owner Dean Spanos.

This was not reaching out to fans! If you want to amend you go in with honesty and openness something that the Spanos lack. Instead the Spanos did what they always do. Their COWARD their way into another situation badly mishandled.

The interview had conditions attached to it. "Do not bring up the past and don't make us regret the interview." Those reporters who do not agree to those conditions will be denied interviews.

The team will began selling PSL soon for their new home. You can debate their success so far in LA and getting support among the LA market but the majority of experts and reporters have seen this as a failure and very badly mishandled by the Chargers front office. Their are trying to get back the small group of fans that are in the middle of not supporting them but following them. The hate watchers are done and the others have already agreed to follow.

Doing an interview with a company employee strict on conditions is an insult to San Diego fans.

Full disclosure: I was not offered to interview John and AG. But I couldn’t anyways, because conditions being placed on interviews is essentially PR and not journalism. Sad to see this happen. Conditions included not talking about past & not making them “regret” the interview.

So the Spanos brothers showed up on SD radio on the station? Tell me more! If the Spanos’ want to ‘try’ to reach SD, going on with their employees is safer, but not realistic. Grow a set of balls boys, I am happy to have you both, anytime!

For the record: I’m not aware of anyone in U-T Sports being offered this “deal,” which is fine because we wouldn’t accept anyway.

John and A.G. Spanos are offering interviews with San Diego-based writers and outlets but with major conditions attached. One of those conditions? Absolutely no talk about the past. Count me among those who is not interested. They could be men and face the music but nope.

Fan Reaction

Just listened to the podcast of the Spanos boys stuttering, literally stuttering through their first interview with San Diego. Apples don’t fall far from the tree. Can not believe these guys are executives at a billion dollar company.

The still supposedly donating to charities in SD : : I know nothing about that : Right? Nobody does. That's the first I've heard of it. Wow, your own employee who lives in San Diego doesn't even know what the hell you're talking about

Too late. Don’t forget the orchestrated charade of “Prop C”. Don’t forget, Dean Spanos didn’t even SHOW UP to negotiate with SD Mayor and city leadership. Don’t forget the WAY they left. Supporting Chargers now is literally supporting Dean.

I will not add the contents of the interview done today because of the severe lack on sincerity by the Chargers.
