Bahahaha, I hope you see what I did there.
The Chargers needed a new Director of Public Relations after Bill Johnston decided to stay in San Diego and since got a job with the San Diego Padres. John Spanos found the right guy to replace Bill in Josh Rupprecht. The team in the last month has reached out to the community in LA. I spoke to Josh after the Browns game.
Josh is 37 and has spent his entire career in LA working for Public relations and digital media. He spent 9 years with the LA Lakers from 2000-2009. The Lakers made 6 trips to the NBA Finals and won 4 championships during his tenure. Before that he was the spokesman and Director of Communications for the UCLA Trojans.
He began his career with the Chargers on April 10, 2017. Right when the team was faltering to gain traction in LA with the new logo fiasco, Free Tattoos and pink hotdogs that came across as more desperation than good strategedy. But it appears Josh is correcting the ship now that he has token over.
The team gave over 150 bikes to kids at Catskill Elementry School as noted here on Chargers.com.

Against the Browns the team held their Alumni Weekend and honoring Fred Dean, Charlie Joiner and Ron Mix. It brought out Shawne Merriman, LT, Ed White, Billy Ray Smith and Nick Hardwick to the many more alumni that went up to Carson to celebrate with their old friends.

Every week the Chargers have a military hero of the week. You can nominate anyone for this award.

Also before the Bills game the Chargers took place in the Pros vs the GI Joes.

A Thanksgiving feast was served to the US Marines also during the Bills Chargers game.

The teams has also continued their support for free dental care

Chargers Owner Dean Spanos approximately 2,000 tickets will be donated to youth organizations this season. Each participant receives a ticket to the game and a free hot dog & soda courtesy the Los Angeles Chargers.
Well see how far the teams goes in the postseason and they will gauge where their at in the offseason. 2017 has been a long hard year for everyone involved this year. One would hope considering they couldn't have gotten off to a worse start in 2017. Maybe 2018 will bring exactly that... A brand new fresh year. Josh seems to be the right person guiding the ship.
